The Band

MANDY SAUNDERS… The writer/singer/keyboardist of this album.
HELEN GOWER… One of my supporters, a friend and sister in Christ. She is an awesome woman of God who can play drums like no other woman I know and sings harmony backing for a number of the songs on this album. We flew her all the way from Auckland to be a part of this gig – and I’m glad we did!
TONY WRIGHT… My brother and a great musician. He plays drums for a number of songs on this album and has been a keen practice drummer behind the scenes helping me shape and mould each song leading up to recording. Tony has put in many practice hours working with the band and myself when Helen couldn’t be there. Thanks bro – you’re the best!
YSRIAL CLUNIES-ROSS… I told Ysrial that I wanted the best musicians and he is the best bass player I know. This man makes an ordinary piece of music sound extra-ordinary. He has the touch of God on his playing and is an awesome worshipper. Thanks for being you Ysrial and letting God use you!
HAMISH CRAIG… This young man has been a part of my music team for the past year and I have so much enjoyed getting to know him and see how God is using his gift. He is an awesome guitarist who is hungry to learn more. Thanks Hamish for your sacrifice of sleep to make this album!
GRAEME OFFICER… I have learnt a lot of valuable lessons through Graeme and his wife Sharon. I have been under their leadership and have looked to them as my mentors on more than one occasion. Graeme is a fabulous singer and it is wonderful to have his input on the album. A simple thank you is not enough here – but thanks anyway!
SAMUEL RALPH… What started very much as a teacher/pupil relationship has become great friendship. I have seen Sam come from a child and develop the gifts God has given him now as a young person. He is an amazingly talented young man who is hungry to be used by God. Thanks for being ready, willing and available Sam!
WIN MURRAY… This man reminds me so much of my Step-Dad, he is an incredibly energetic and passionate person. Thanks so much Win for being available to translate English into Maori for me. Your rich, deep voice sounds fantastic for the karakia. Arohanui.
A special thanks to MICHELLE CLUNIES-ROSS who is the voice of the karanga at the start of – Respond to the call. (Yes she is related to Ysrial – his lovely wife).
